Prague No. 406/43 With regard to the note of the Croatian Vice-coneulat No. 143/43 of 14.I.43., the personal introduction of the Vice- Consul V.Wittner with the representative of the Foreign Office Prof. Dr. Gerlach and the telephone conversation with the Ministerial Council Dr. Skarnitzl concerning the assignment of the free standing, furnished living room in the second floor of the Hauee Beethoven-gasse No. 59/door 27/, the kroatiscje Vigeconsulate allows itself the representative of the Federal Foreign Office to the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia to be courteously ordered by this way to assign the above-mentioned, furnished apartment to the wife of the vice-consul Hermine Gračan. Apart from the amount which should be designed for this purpose and which Mrs Gračan is not available, it is now very difficult to create a simple furnishing of the apartment. For this reason, the local representation of the independent state of Croatia would be very grateful to the representative of the Foreign Office if the early allocation of the apartment to Beet-hovengasse 59 II.St. could be made possible. It goes without saying that apart from the rent of the apartment, a corresponding amount would also be paid to the Jewish property management monthly for the establishment. The Croatian vice-consulate allows itself to point out the urgency of the matter and therefore asks for the most kind of early completion.
