Security service of the Reichsführer-4 Prag-Bubentsch, 27, January 1944 SD section Prague Sachsenweg telex 774-44 III - PA_3092 2 Confidential! OANE To the head of the ministry of the German State Ministry for Bohemia 4-Standartenführers Ministerial Councillor Dr. G i S Prag IV, Eing.: 28. JAN. 1944 Czerninpalais Betr.: K l u z, Josef, market dealer, verh., 1 child, born 18.3.19o0 in Proschwitz, resident Kolin V., Am Weinberg 898 - Recognition of German nationality - Introduction: There from 29 September 1943 Appendices! After a further thorough examination of the ethnicity of Josef Kl u z, there are from here, in agreement with the RuS-Landesstelle Böhmen, against the recognition of the German nationality to the named, as well as his son Rudolf Kl U z , born 15.12.1924, k e n e n a concern. Josef Kl u z, born on March 18, 1969, is an illegitimate child of Anna Kluz, who is probably of Czech descent, but grew up in the present Sudeten area; the illegible father was a German descendant. Josef Kluz visited exclusively German schools, was known as a German people during the census in l93o, was already known as German-friendly in Kolin before the establishment of a protectorate and immediately made himself available as an interpreter after the invasion of the German troops. However, since he showed a behaviour which was not worthy of Germanism, the former Oberlandrat in Kolin was forced to transfer Kluz to work in the old kingdom, especially since he had already been sentenced 12 times in 1916-1937. However, as he has not been relapsed since then, there is a legitimate hope that he has now finally improved. From a racial point of view, Kluz had to be rejected by the competent RuS service; however, the concerns were dropped due to his at least semi-German descent and his German-Tum confession as well as his voluntary notification to the Wehrmacht. b.w.
