0 - 3 - 3.) the necessary material was not available as a result of the situation in the West and the transport difficulties. Due to the development, the company has in the meantime established the third planning for the southern construction, which, however, probably cannot be complied with again. According to the report I received in mid-December 1944 the southern building still made the impression of a by no means exploited product. Very many machines are unoccupied. Although the larger proportion of the decommissioned machines is accounted for by the production of the 8.8 cm tank grenade in the run-out, it is particularly striking that machines for the newly starting program ( Sprenggranate) are also standing still. According to the expert's report, the existing equipment could have produced much more if the control of materials for the southern building were not so complicated and confusing. I refer to the minutes sent directly by the ironworks of Witkowitz to Jhnen on the occasion of the visit of Jng.Wunderlich. The attached summary, which in Part A is based on the findings of the Young Wonderful, in Part B on the information provided by the Directorate-General, also shows the details. In order to obtain an improvement in the material supply and analysis, I also asked the Armaments Officer General Dr.Adolf to intervene also from his field. In any case, it must be assumed at the moment that the material flow necessary for mass production is not guaranteed. Therefore, a further allocation of workers for the southern building has been stopped at first, until Director Razhka nittellets that sufficient work is also available for the new workers. Unfortunately, however, I do not see the guarantee that the workers will be retrained in the right direction to manufacture in the southern building. Despite strong indications and repeated commitments, the retraining workshop had not yet been built in December 1984.
