76 December 2, 1941. St.S.XI B - 122f/41. 2) To Herr Oberstleutnant Vorbrugg, Prag XIX, Platz der Wehrmacht 5. Dear Herr Oberntleutnnant! That there. Letter from 20.v.Mts. - Sign B.No. 344/41. Ch.d.Genst., concerning Uk positions, has been presented to the Secretary of State. Apart from the case of the Assi- sten Neumann, the cases of the non-commissioned officer Kleinpe ter and the private officer Dipl.Jng. Schmelzer are stored in such a way that, for Kleinpeter, the cancellation of the Uk position was not requested and, for Schmeller, the abolition of the uk position, but its use in the defence sector was encouraged. As far as the Schmelzer case is concerned, Mr Staatssekre- tär wishes to maintain the proposal to see Schmelzer installed in larger defence works of the Protectorate as a contractor for the arms inspection. In the meantime, I have received a CV of Schmelser, which I join. Jch may ask to take note of the statement of the Secretary of State and would be grateful to Jhnen for a communication on the current state of affairs. Heil Hitler! Jhr .→ Superior Council.
