72 Franz S c h m e l z e r, Pirna, the 13.1.42. Fr. at 4./T.E.A. P i r n a,a.Elbe. Ing of the State Secretary Home address: Ioin Reichsprotector Marklissa i.Schl. in Bühmen and Maheen. Baderstr.261. Cing.: 15.JAN.1942 To the Herr Staat ssekr etär K, H.Frank , Reichs-Protektoratsregierung, Prag, B Burg Today I received from my Komp.-Führer the official notice that it-higher Wehrmacht command all members of the German Wehrmascht, especially mining specialists, must be dismissed in a few days. Since I gave up my position with my previous company, the A.-G.Sächsische Werke- Dresden, where I was working as a plant manager, for reasons already described earlier, I cannot work there again. I refer, deutch Secretary of State, to the one in Nov.4l. If the possibilities discussed at that time had not yet matured, this time it is a mining activity. I, before the debate with you, had to discuss such possibilities of existence in person with the Gen. Dr. Schicketanz. However, the situation had become different in mutual agreement with Mr. Min.-Council DrGgegten, and this path had not been taken by me. By the O.K.H.'s order, I must send a heartfelt request to Prague to help me make an early personal meeting with a gentleman leading the mining industry in order to be able to take my proof of a mining activity after my release from the Wehrmacht. Although my inner desire to be able to unfold in the Böhm.-Mähr.-Raum should not be possible at this time, I am always grateful for the effort I have made to fulfil my warm request, expressed above, to you and to your gentlemen in the government. Since I am not informed about the entry conditions as a civilian in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, I ask for a brief explanation about this, if I go to Prague in the given case. With German thanks and H e i l - H i t l e r ! Hhneser St. C.X131 1221/41
