Betr.: Input by Mr Fritz Burschofsky, Hohenstadt, from 4.8.1939 concerning the acquisition of the Jewish printing plant Groak, Olmütz. Referring to the letter from Mr. Fritz Burschofsky, Hohenstadt (Mähren) concerning the possible acquisition of the company "Igo" Josef Groak, Olmitz, sent to you by Mr. Landrat Fuchs, it is reported that the aforementioned gentleman has been granted a pre-authorization to acquire this company today. It is added that the "Melantrich" A.G. Prague, already on 17 April 1939 with the sole proprietor of the above company, Mr Hugo Groak, Olmütz, signed a sales contract and submitted it to the Business Group for approval. For political reasons and in the conviction that there would be an opportunity to transfer this company into German hands, this application has not been dealt with provisionally and will be refused at the given time.
