Having already spoken to Mr. Legation Council of Holleben several times on the phone and personally, I now turn to Your Excellency in writing with the great and heartfelt request for an announcement of a time at which your Excellencies would like to sit for about 3-4 hours on a relief model. From next Monday, 6 November, I will be back in Prague for about 2-3 weeks. I would like to stay free for this work, as it would be a special pleasure for me to be able to portray Your Excellency as the first Deputy Head of State of the Protectorate after all the unfortunate years of discontent. In the former Czechoslovakia, I was unable to participate as a German (foreign) sculptor in an invitation to tender and did not expect to receive a government commission.I therefore lost a lot of time and did much work.I hope to be able to do so now that my home country has finally become a real German homeland to portray your Excellency - this task would mean, as the only German modailleur in Prague, a real goal for me!
