45 - 3 - City Council in Eger, Pg. Wild, was made well-known. This one also made for the performance in Prague, where I was interested and left a favourable impression on all sides. The salary requirement also holds itself within more fulfilling limits than that of Dr. Sturm. At the instruction of the Komnunal department of the Reichsprotektor, I informed the local district head of this application with the request to take up the contact with Wild and to express himself about his person. As I have heard, this opinion is expected to be positive. Meanwhile under the 9.l2. At the request of the Gaupersonalamt, the President of the Re- gation sent me the advertisement of a Priedrich Jahn from Friedland for this job. I submitted the application documents of this man to the Reichsprotektor for the opinion and under the l5.l2. l939. After Mr. Jahn's résumé, he certainly has undeniable merits for Sudetenland's German language, but apparently little experience in municipal politics. He is, in my memory, working at the Landratsamt in Friedland in Versicherungssachen. To sum up, I think that the competition for Wild is the most promising, provided that there are no political concerns against it, but I do not believe that for the sake of that, because Wild is a party comrade and district head of local politics in Brux. The city of Pilsen has a large number of municipal problems, of which I would like to point out in general only the following: housing, waste water recycling, settlement, etc. These tasks will best be solved by a man who, in addition to his natural experience in the popular struggle, also has experience of the entire communal political problem, and who undoubtedly precedes these goats at Wild; his long-standing work as mag. councillor in Eger and the fact that he was appointed second mayor in Brüx after the liberation of the Sudetenland. In person, he made the impression that he would also prevail over the Czechs and that he will be able to become a teacher in the city administration, especially since the current municipality leader in Pilsen, Reg. Commissioner Dr. Němejc, is a soft person and a pronounced compromise nature.
