A 4. Question: Is this attitude of the Czech people also confirmed in the performance and contributions to Europe's war efforts against its enemies in the East and the West? Answer: The daily work of all Czech creators is the clearest proof that the Czech people today do not have an ear for demagogic incitement, but in the spirit of its president they want to pursue their work in peace Czech peasants and workers like the German workers and peasants in the Reich to fulfil the German arms and food programme. The Czech armament workers, engineers and technicians, who today use their skills, their intelligence and inventiveness for the interests of the German armaments industry, deserve all recognition. The extent to which this effort is based on voluntariness is demonstrated by the fact that an amazing number of Czech engineers and workers were able to make valuable inventions available to our armor. It will not be possible to have such inventions enforced. They are always only the expression of an increased, voluntary attitude to work and, ultimately, testimony to the political basic attitude of wider circles and the positive will to work that inspires the Czech population of Bohemia and Moravia today.
