JUNE 1943 T9 Dear Sirs, in the annex, we would like to send you some foreign newspapers, in which the statements made by the Secretary of State to our diplomatic correspondent Dr. Rudolf Fischer on the situation in the Protectorate of Bohemia-Mären will be reproduced. It is "Frith Folk" in Oslo and the "Turkish Post". Unfortunately, it has not yet been possible to obtain the supporting copies of other foreign papers. However, all newspapers that publish the interview are requested by us and will be forwarded to you immediately upon their arrival in Berlin. From the print reports of our delivery offices available to us, we find that the interview has been published excellently, especially in South-Eastern Europe up to Turkey. In Pressburg the publication took place in the "Borderboten" and the "Magyar Hirlap" with two- and three-column titles. The print was particularly successful in Hungary. "Uj Nemjedeh" and "Pester Lloyd" brought the interview on the first page in great presentation. Also "Magyar Nemzet", "Magyarerszag" and 'Nepszava" brought in the words of the Secretary of State. - 2 - St. TxB-7d/43
