The colour of the uniform rack was blue with silver buttons and corresponding dd sraa dad was worn the well-known bobby helmet with silver fittings. From the fact that the police in the Protectorate carried on the old uniforms, we have so far struck considerable political capital, because these universities could be shown to anyone, especially abroad, as a symbol of autonomy. Unfortunately, the blue fabric is now coming to an end. As a replacement, field-grey fabric, as the Czech gendarmerie wears it, is available to a large extent. The attempt to colour the field-gray cloth to blue, has not been particularly successful. The grey colour tone appears again during prolonged use and naturally under the influence of rain and snow, so that the uniform roek becomes unsightly over time. However, the fact that - on the basis of a simple
