4a - 9 -) There must be an absolute guarantee that archivists will be constantly monitored on a daily basis by means of closure, archivist status as well as frequent disclosure, heating and cleaning and that the archive will be notified immediately upon occurrence of any defects or a risk to the condition. The maintenance of the holdings can be carried out by the owner of the building, an other resident, neighbouring archive keepers, teachers or other reliable persons. From time to time, the alternate posts must be checked by the archive officials. In the case of larger depots, a member of the archive may need to be relocated. (f) If there is any doubt about the air hazard of a recovery site, the decision of the competent Luftgaukomnandos shall be taken in the case of archives which are to be distributed over the area of several Luft Gau commanders, which the Luftwaffe commander Mitte has to catch up with. Small, particularly valuable archives can also be accommodated in a bank's trousers, in armored cabinets and similar : safe rooms without special supervision.
