Rinnebach Staff. A.Z. Ri./Kr./Ka. Prag, 22 July 1943. 1 Activity report of Rinnenbach Staff. The Rinnebach Staff was appointed by decree of the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia of 21.10.1942 to establish and take up the cultural treasures existing in Bohemia or Moravia, in order to provide the basis for the practical implementation of the "Regulation on the Protection of Cultural Monuments in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Styria" of l.lo.l94o. Right at the beginning of his work, the staff has sought a close consultation with the relevant government departments, in particular Group I lo, which is responsible for the supervision of the artifacts in Bohemia and Moravia, so that the evaluation of all previous preparatory work on this subject, as well as the advisory cooperation of the various experts in the field, and thus a truly expedient and proportionately small work of the staff could be ensured. This close cooperation, in the best of agreement, has already had a very fruitful effect on the achievement of the stated goal, namely the complete collection of the most valuable cultural property in Bohemia and Moravia outside the public collections. The staff has always considered it its most prominent task to maintain and conserve the eyesight in the state in which they were encountered. In accordance with the order, all the castles in the compulsory administration of the Land Office, as far as they were designated as urgent by W-Obersturmbannführer F i s c h e r as being necessary for inventing, have been registered according to the guidelines given by Mr General Oberst D a l u e g e. The inventory itself was carried out in a general arrangement according to a uniform scheme in three groups, e.g.: Group I = Museale values Group II Schloss Mobilar Group III = general furniture and objects of use.
