26 - 2 - Since the Reich has taken over the military protection of the Protectorate and the protection of nationals of the protectorate abroad (Art.1, 6, 7 Decree of 16.III.39), there must be an obligation of the members of the protectionate not to fight against the Reich. This also states a decree of the Protectionate Government of 9.IX.39. It says: "... The government is paying attention to all members of the Protectorate with the greatest pressure to the fact that the entry into militant formations, whatever kind of treason, which are formed abroad, is punishable by the most severe penalties, in particular the government of the protectorate warns against the consequences that all those protectorate members who, as members of foreign military formations in the canopy, are caught with German troops." According to § 15 of V.0. of 14.IV.39 (RGBl.I p.756), §§ 80 to 93a RStgB (high and state treason) in the Protectorate also apply to nationals of the Protectorates. According to § 6 para.
