V e r me r k : Gauamtleiter N e u w i r t h aus Aussig brought up with me the concerns of the Repatriation Office and asked with reference to the letter sent by Gauleiter Bohle to the Lord Reich Protector under the 2.lo.l939 - sign Gauleider A/Wlk for support in the completion of the tasks of this office, which wanted to establish a branch office in the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. However, this had no influence on the activities of the Office, the Office was on the basis of the Circular Decree of the Lord Reich Minister of the Interior v.22.3.1938 – Sign Po1.S.V. 1 Nr. 713/37 - 215 were assigned the task of continuously reporting the returnees to the competent state police stations. Conversely, the state police posts would be instructed to keep the returners informed to the office. The Office was then called on by the state police in the form that it was to investigate the possible returnees abroad where they had resided or had their residence. If the investigation had been concluded, the state would have been involved. Police officers inform the Office of the results, which, in turn, contacted the employment offices, to prevent unreliable returnees from being conveyed to protected enterprises. Without prejudice to the tasks outlined in the above-mentioned statements, the Office still had the care of the returnees. It follows from all this that, in my opinion, no objection can be raised against the activities of a branch of the Office in the Protectorate.
