Subject: Treatment of return migrants. 7l3/37 - 215 - of 22 March 1938 The following supplement is added to the above decree: 1) On point V: The division II is responsible for the treatment of returnees at the individual state police stations. 2 To point II 1: From interrogations which have a intelligence value, 3 copies - described unilaterally - must be submitted to the Géheime State Police Office for reference number IIHGSt (Ber.). 3) To Appendix 1: The guidelines on the interrogation of returnees are supplemented by the following: a: The returner must be asked about which kind of object he has and how he has been affected. b: Repatriation must be made aware of the special provisions of foreign law. In particular, it must be pointed out that a non-conformity may result in severe punishment. c: Remigration must be informed that, if necessary, it has to inform the tax office of its new place of residence about its state of assets.
