I hereby confirm receipt of your telex from 22.9.d.Js, - No. 725, concerning personal union in the field of the armaments industry. In the same spirit, Reichaminister Speer wrote to me on September 20th as follows: "I am currently conducting discussions with the Reichswirtschaftesministerium, which concern practically the same proposal that you are referring to in your last report to the Führer for the protectorate of Bühmen and Moravia. I would ask you to wait for the negotiations which will take about fourteen days, and I believe that a change in the solution will be in line with your wish for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. You will understand that I think it is better to clarify first of all the basic solution so that individual solutions can adapt to it, I would be grateful if you would also give me such suggestions in the future when you hear the narrow criticism we have heard."
