Division VIII/l: Transport Unit g) Road transport Prague, 2 August 1943. VIII/1 g Tr. 630/43. irn dos C an Sieki in Buho 0k.0 .V.I Flähsen. ny.. 3. AUG. 1943 To the office of the Secretary of State in the H a u s e. Betr,: Fuel allocation to the SS section XxxIX. Within the last 2 months the fuel quota of the Protectorate was reduced by a total of 12%. I was therefore forced to make cuts both to the district heads and to the special quota holders. In the SS section XxxIX cuts have not yet been made. My speaker only consulted SS-Hauptsturmführer Keppler for savings. Hauptsturmführer Keppler explained that the SS section has already largely saved, which is reflected in the fact that 200 litres had been returned in July. Until now, the fuel pass cards not issued by the SS Section have only been returned to the local unit of the month following the month of consumption. As this saved fuel can no longer be supplied to other consumers, these quantities of my already very limited total fuel will disappear. My speaker therefore asked Hauptsturmführer Keppler to return these cards at the end of the month of consumption so that they would be available to other applicants who also have to carry out war-related journeys. A reduction in the quota of section XxxIX was excluded. The SS cut-off t XXxIX was allocated looo liters for the month of August, as well as for the previous months. In May the allocation was even increased to l30o liters. .√C-17c/21.
