2. An alternate shall be appointed for each member of the Board of Directors in the event of a disability. 3. When appointing members and their alternate representatives, care must be taken to ensure that the professional bodies in the city and country involved in the institution as policyholders are represented, as far as possible, in the insurance portfolio of the institution in accordance with their participation. 4. Members and their alternates shall be policyholders of the institution and have been resident in the territory of the institute for a period of one year. Persons who are in the administration or in the service of a private insurance undertaking may not be appointed. 5. Members and their alternates shall be appointed for a period of four years, but those who resign shall remain in office until the new appointed members are introduced. For members and alternates who retire during the four-year period, replacements must be appointed, which shall remain only until the end of the period for which the divorced members were appointed. The appointment of the members and their alternates may be revoked by the supervisory authority without any time limit. (6) The SteliRepresentative of the Gauhauptmann shall be one of the ten ordinary members of the Board of Directors to be appointed by the Reich Governor. (7) The Chairman of the Management Board shall have two alternates. One of them is his first representative in the main office. As a special task, he has to supervise the Bohemian area of interest of the institution. The other deputy is appointed from the number of members of the board appointed by the Reichsprotektor i.m.
