Draft AnIage 1 231 Ordinance by Mr Reichsprotektor für Böhmen und Mähren on the management of motor vehicles driven by generator gas and on the conversion of motor cars to other types of propulsion. NNTGNTLELAE §1 A motor vehicle driven by generator gas (wood, charcoal, coal, etc.) may be run on public roads and places only by a person who, apart from the normal driving licence (driver's licence), has received a special permit to maintain and drive generator vehicles. The special permit shall be deemed to have been granted in the future by the purchase of an approval certificate for generator vehicles. The application for the allocation of the approval certificate shall be addressed to the local NSKK engine standard. The licence shall be issued by the relevant NSKX engine group. The latter shall be entitled to make the issue of the permit subject to the proof of sufficient knowledge of the maintenance and management of generator vehicles by means of a test. The costs of the test shall be borne by the applicant. The driver must always carry the approval certificate when driving generator vehicles and, upon request, submit it to the competent authorities for inspection. § 2 persons who are in possession of a special permit pursuant to the previous Government Decree No.84 of 15.1.1942, may continue to drive vehicles with generator types previously driven by them. The certificates issued by individual registration authorities shall cease to be valid with the 31.3.l943. § 3 The acceptance test of a motor vehicle converted to generator operation may not be carried out by the official examiner until the permanent driver of the vehicle has submitted the approval certificate.
