Copy of the PROTECTOR in Bohemia and Moravia 9 9 September 1942 $21 III/2 -0- 407/42 foxedfotot ne To the leader of the motor group E g e r l a n d and NSKk - Liaison leader to the Reichsprotector in Bohemia, and Moravia Karlovy Vary Subject: Your letters dated 1 and 8 August 1942. Your proposals to involve the NSK in all areas connected with the motorization of road transport in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia have been noted with great interest. I attach great importance to the fact that the NskK's cooperation is only carried out in close agreement with my group on road transport. On the individual points of your letter of August 1942 I note the following: l.) Training and testing of drivers of motor vehicles with generator drive. The decrees of the Minister of Transport of the Reich of 2 February 1941 - K 1. 3072/41 - and of 22 September 1941 - C 2. 21 473/41 - are not valid for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. I have to say that I do not agree with the fact that there are no essential requirements in the above regulations for Bohemia and Moravia; in the rest of the Reich, aid for the conversion to power with generator gas is granted to non-reimbursable aid. However, the payment is made subject to the condition that only approved generators are installed and that the driver's tests prove that there is an ordinary service.
