transcript REIC PROTECTOR h DER in Bohemia and Moravia 9 September 1942 III/2 -0- 407/42 To the leader of the motor group E g e r l a n d and NSKk - Liaison leader to the Reichsprotector in Bohemia, and Moravia Karlovy Vary A Subject: Your letters dated 1 August 1942 and 18 August 1942. I am very interested in your proposals to involve the NSK in all areas connected with the motorization of road transport in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. I attach great importance to the fact that the NCKK's cooperation is only carried out in close consultation with my group of road traffic. On the individual points of your letter of August 1942 I note the following: 1.) Training and testing of drivers of motor vehicles with generator drive. The decrees of the Minister of Transport of the Reich of 21 February 1941 - K 1. 3072/41 - and of 22 September 1941 - C 2. 21 473/41 - are not valid for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. I do not wish to give an order for Bohemia and Moravia to do so, because there are no essential conditions for the above decrees; in the rest of the Reich, aid for the conversion to power with generator gas is granted without reimbursable aid. However, the payment is made subject to the condition that only approved generators are installed and that the driver's tests prove that there is a proper service.
