- 38 - Officers must remain faithful to their association. The support association goes back to the former "Verbanu of the Czechoslovak officers", which after the establishment of the Protectorate significantly expanded its scope and sphere of activity. While the predecessor of today's association mainly covered reserve officers, the new association was given the task of covering all former active officers, including reserve officials, officers in peace, officers aspirants and non-absol- fourth military academics. Today, with 22,000 members and 150 local groups, the association has a very complete overview of all the former works. In its ideology, it is still in the line of the old system; the fact that it has not learned any lessons from the events of recent times, e.g. in that all legionaries for the association year 1941 were re-confirmed in their functions at the local group Jung-Bunzlau, without, as usual, a main meeting was convened for the re-election. The comradeship federation includes non-commissioned officers and men of the former Czechoslovak army. The number of members is approximately 18.O00, which still includes Le- gionaires and Jews.
