MF 4 SD section Prague 6drerio) No. 63/43 Prague, June 1943. 2 Tagebericht (Strictly confidential, only for the personal use of the consignee) Feich ga ia - 2nd JUNI 1943 I. General situation and stinging: The German population with increased spon- nication is missing the beginning of the German Ofiensive in the East. The long-lasting calm, however, is increasingly causing many people to think that Germany will only fight defensively this year, alarming the continuing attacks by the Bolsheviks on Cuba. One could not explain how the Russians could still use such a mass of human and material resources, so that one had the impression that the previous losses had not been decided at all. The numerous rumors that Germany is building an east wall to make the Russon run counter and thus weaken it find more faith and strengthen the German population in the conviction that the war nceh will be thawing for more years. In addition, the permanent cchworon air attacks of the enemies on German territories are Ccgenstand concerned dobattes. The recently high exhaust fugitives of particularly 4-engined English and American Borber were almost without exception only used as bewois for an increased activity and for the dio numerical superiority of the Allied Air Force. In this context, the publications in the press and in the radio about the so far deutsehestskgrüds, Krankonhäuser - 2 -, which had been destroyed by enemy bombs, are found.
