As is well known, the commercial accommodation space in the tourist communities is largely used for public purposes for military purposes, for the sending of children's land, for relocation of hospitals and the like. The remainder is reserved for recreational travel (front leavers, arms industry, the sick, etc.) which is important for the war. There is only a very small number of beds available for transit. As a rule, it is therefore not possible to hold larger meetings or meetings in foreign transport communities because the participants cannot be accommodated. This applies to places of recreation as well as to larger cities, and in particular to Berlin, which has experienced such a reduction in the number of beds as a result of the recent air raid, that general passenger and professional traffic can only be handled with difficulty.
