Through this cooperation, some completely undecided officials were employed at the expense of the Germans, who were only employees for K. and P. Very soon, after P. was active in Pilsen, he began his plan to bring the German breweries Pilsens and the surrounding area into the possession of the Bürgerliches Bräuhaus, into action and thus to cschechize the German brewery capital. The P. was soon able to bring the Priorbrewery into the hands of the Bürgerliches Bräuhaus. It did not take long, then the other German breweries had also passed through the method of the P. into the possession of the Burgerliches Brauhaus. In the course of this action, the German civil servants were largely dismissed, e.g. with very low rates in pension, while the few who had been taken over were greatly reduced in salaries.In one case, although a head accountant with the same salary was taken over, he was placed on a subordinate position and left there full l8 years with unchanged salary. It was only by the decree of the Reichsprotector that this official increased by lo%. Although P. claims on every occasion that he had always only the intention to protect Germanism, it is clear that he has done everything possible to successfully enforce Czechization in his sphere of influence.
