Betr.: Mood development in the Protectorate from 29.9. to 2.10.1941. In the continuation of the summary report of 29 September, the following reports are reported on the development of sentiment in the Protectorate: I. German population: The apparent atmospheric effect of the change of leadership in the protectorate continues substantially unchanged until 29 September. It can be noted that the vast majority of the German population accepted the change of leadership with lively support and unreservedly approves of the draconian measures taken since then. It is always a satisfaction that now "finally" Czech pride is brought to an end and energetically penetrated. The Reichsprotector of Neurath is said to have been far too weak and also made possible some unwanted influence of the German and Czech nobility.
