The German population shows an almost joyful mood throughout and expresses the hope that it will continue to be "sharply penetrated". The observation in numerous places shows that even economic concerns come into the Hirtergrund. In many cases a review of the possession of weapons by Czechs in view of the state of emergency has been discussed, e.g. suggested. In the course of the announcements of the German measures, it was observed that the Czech arbiter crisis often utters that it would be better if "single rags" had to believe in it than if the whole Czech people were suffering. With regard to the announced German measures, secret statements about the "German injustice" were often heard. In one case, an unknown Czech declared "that doesn't matter, the dead will avenge themselves." As was known from one side, this is also the case. Czech colonel Emanuel M o r a v e c blamed much for the current events and prophesied him in the first place soon retaliation. The general attitude of the Czechs is always waiting, but clearly bears the stamp of fear.
