B 4 1.10.1941 2 Note - Subject: Placarding of the proclamations and decrees of the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia as well as of the Standgerichtsurtei le. My convocation for the 30.9.1941 to the Wehr- makes, which by the transfer to the weapons became obsolete gave me since 28.9.19 41 several opportunities to observe as a civilian the city image of Prague. It was particularly striking that the billposting of the proclamations and decrees of the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia on the civil state of emergency as well as on the state court judgments has many shortcomings. e.g. I have only seen such plattitudes on the posterboards of the government police district councils, which in most cases have their seat in low-traffic secondary roads. In addition, posters are only attached to the billboards and letterboards belonging to the public places, which are also probably situated in more or less different places because of their disturbing impression within the cityscape. the relatively long and busy Viktq ria-Straße (former Volksstraße) does not have a poster, as well as the ditch. The handling of the placarding of the mentioned statements and announcements is also in contrast to the previously practiced practice, e.g. on the occasion of the high school riots in November 3g where the then decrees of the Reich Protector were attached to almost every window in the inner city area (Prague I and II), especially on Wenceslas Square.
