22a He, Pleiger, had originally intended to put a very strange man at the head of the work, but had failed to do so because he suspected a certain good core in the ironworks. This was due to the fact that he had decided on the solution in the form of a board of directors for Witkowitz. However, should this solution prove to be unsustainable over time, he was determined to intervene accordingly, if necessary also by force. He had become aware that various places had supported the WEW's efforts and thus there had to be a certain opposition in Witkowitz. Pleiger asked the present whether he could not agree with his remarks and would confess to the opposition. Pleiger acknowledged with visible satisfaction the absence of any reaction to this question. Under the Ostrava industrial leadership, the appointment of the Management Committee for Witkowitz is almost identical as a provision, all the more so since information from Berlin suggests that the future Director-General in the person of G e l e n b e r g s, who has now approached the Pleiger closely, is already firmly established. A confirmation of the members of the board of directors has not yet been made, one wants to be able to determine here again the tactics generally applied by Pleiger, namely that the management of the HGW operations never concretely determine, in order thus to maintain the dependence relationship with him, Pleiger in any case. Reference was made to the Watenstädt plant, where the conditions in the management of the plant should be similar to those in Witkowitz. Information is requested. 20403 dwabi Gind bg arg 131 9 7
