A SOCIETY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1753, sig. 109-4/1508
English Translation
C6 During the first period of the war, a contribution could already be seen in the fact that, by accepting the protection of the empire, we prevented our countries from being abused against the German Reich and that we sought to show so much autarky in all areas that we did not have to be counted among the passive countries on the part of the Reich and Europe. The growth of the surrender of the empire, however, required that we move on to a sceptical contribution. To the will of the Führer, we took part in the work front at home and in other realms. The competent authorities have not left undecided good successes without recognition and the recent open words of Mr K.H.Frank, Secretary of State, mean for us all, as you rightly pointed out, an important proof of progressive consolidation.* Gad now we are talking about an increased use of labour; here we are already dealing with unreal victims, which will cause many of our relatives for the common European cause. From the very beginning, let us learn to honour our workers sincerely, who benefit from the results of their work to the benefit of the whole people. It is of course that it would not be possible under these circumstances, be it on which troublemaker our public relations always belong, to a component of our society which is as important as it is.
