Ministerial Councillor Dr. Heckel Prague, 18 February 1943. To the In Office of the Secretary of State 18. FEB. 1943 in the H a u s e . I indicate that on Monday, 22 and Tuesday, the 23.2. a commission of three experts from the Ministry of Education of the Reich is present in Prague to discuss with the specialists from the Sudetengau various pending questions in the field of primary and secondary education, in particular all matters concerning the training of Czech children in the SuDetengau. As a meeting place, Prague has been chosen for transport reasons in order to be able to summarise the heads of departments from Reichenberg, Aussig and Karlovy Vary. Furthermore, it is possible in this way that we can participate in the discussion of questions which require mutual coordination between Protectorate and Sude tengau. The meetings take place in the offices of the Department III - School Administration - in the Ministry of Education. If the Secretary of State wishes to recommend the head of the Berlin Commission, Ministerial Conductor Dr. Fr a n k, I would ask for an understanding. As far as I can see the situation, I do not think such a reception is necessary.
