A b t e l u n g III Prague, 28 April 1944 III b 21 - 3 28. APR 1044 The Minister of State by the Head of the Minister's Office in Berlin Subject: Visit of the Ministerial Council A r-n o l d from the Reich Ministry of Education in Berlin The visit of the Council of Ministers A r n o ld from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Berlin, as I have shown on 27 January 1984, took place in February. First of all, with the involvement of the staff of the Ministry of Education, the head of the main departments of education and training at the regional authorities in Prague and Brno, and the ministerial councillor Arnold, I would like to discuss the special situation and task of the German school system and German school supervision in this area. We came to a unified view of the requirements that must be placed on our German school inspectors. For the examination itself, the standard form was chosen, i.e. the presentation of a trial lesson by the school inspector, the evaluation of the teachers' lessons by the official and the debate on pedagogical, psychological and administrative questions. In Bohemia, 18, in Moravia, 9 school inspectors were visited. The result of the visits was in line with our expectations. Without reservation, in Bohemia 15, in Moravia 5 officials could be found suitable for the school supervision service; 6 officials, among them 2 in Bohemia and 4 in Moravia, were postponed to a second visit in June the year because of lack of experience. Only with the presiding district school inspector \0-155ef42
