22 25 May 1939. The Secretary of State. To Gauschatzmeister Pg. F 1 ö g e 1 , Reichenberg. In the course of the liquidation of the former K.H. Frank publishing house a fee claim of my brother Ernst Frank is still to be done, which has not received a penny for the "Sudetendeutsche Bücherei" (Sudeten German Library) and for "Goehte im Elbogener Ländchen" and "Der silber Löwe im roten Feld" (The Silver Lion in the Red Field). I suggest that he at least receive RM loo.- as a final severance fee and ask you to transfer this amount as soon as possible. As I learned from the publisher's liqui- gate, the fears about large passive balances did not occur, but the publisher was still able to bring RM loo.ooo.- in, so that, except for a tax backlog, all debts could be retained from own capital. O Since Comrade Michler has endured until the last day in the somewhat questionable company, it is now our duty to take care of the accommodation of this comrade. I therefore ask you to stand up for Comraide Michler and help him find a suitable position. I would like to take over the management of the scientific association of the Sudeten German booksellers. Therefore, you want to agree with the representative Gauleiter Pg. Dr. Köllner. I look forward to a confirmation of my letter. Heil Hitler !
