I have been asked to work for the appointment of the university professor Dr. S a u r e who is currently working in Göttingen immediately, but no later than the winter semester 1939/4o to the Faculty of Law of the University of Prague. This plan is very appealing to me because of Professor Saure's personality and I would regard his action in Prague as a significant gain for the German interests in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. In my opinion, the point of departure of Professor Saure for Goddess means a loss; for the German interests in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia have priority in this case.
