It follows from the files of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labour (W I D -62759/42 -) that the company M.B.Neumanns-Söhne-UNIoN, textile industry and printing factory A.G., Königinhof a.d.E., received the decision of 28 April 1942 to shut down its business on 24 May 1942. On the basis of the letter from the company M.B.Neu manns Söhne-UNIoN dated 9 April 1942 (see Annex to the letter of the Gauleitung Sudetenland to the Secretary of State) the expiry period from 20 May 1942 to 20 June 1942 has been extended with the notification of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labour. Since the letter of the head of the law firm of Gauleiter and Reichsstatthalter in the Sudetengau is already dated 8 May 1942 and the matter has not been taken up again in the meantime, it can be assumed that the Gauleitung has agreed with the meanwhile done silence.
