Cing.: 17.Dez.1941 Dear Secretary of State! - After the return of my informative journeys to Bulgaria and Hungary I would have liked to have contacted you very much, but in view of your full time I may with your permission postpone my audition until January. In the well-known matter, which seems extremely important to me, not only because of the interests of Witkowitz , I have to come back to Prague at the beginning of next month and then continue to Berlin. This trip is, by the way, connected with a change in my job position, which I, if you find the time to do so, would like to seek advice from you. Today I fly over Vienna to Agram to spend the holidays with my wife, from whom I have been separated for two months. Before my departure, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you on the occasion of the forthcoming end of the year. You know that I do not need to give any further reasons for this. Because of the slow postal connection from Agram to here, I want to offer you my warmest congratulations on the Julfest and wish you a happy and successful New Year. May 1942 bring further rapprochement to the goal in which I had previously been able to work in my official capacity among you. My wife has urged me to express her gratitude to your wife and to you and to wish both of them from the heart all the best for the feast and the New Year. I may also offer my most binding wishes and recommendations to your wife. I remain with Heil Hitler ! 2 Your always very grateful oi cang w 20y73.47. St. S.πM-55g/41
