The abolition of the customs border and the inclusion in the rail transport system of Great Germany were the main conditions for the favourable development of the protectorate railways also in 1940. The services of the company continued to increase and reached an unprecedented level. The overall economic result can be described as satisfactory. With the further consolidation of the position of the protectorate railways in the large German railway network, a further improvement of the financial results can be expected. Prague, 10 July 1942.
