Der Reich. or Blllir b0 27. MAI 43 Ar. 29. May 1943 Betr.: Power supply of the equipment industry in the Protectorate, reference: Your letter dated 16 March 1943. - Nr. 501/43.9- Tn-348/43 Dear Dal uege h pihblont p For years, my planning office has been following the electricity supply situation of the Protectorate. For the first time, the work on the construction of the Ostmark aircraft engine plants was included in the protectorate as part of the sub-supplier planning. At that time, the Luftwaffe was the only Wehrmacht to participate in the expansion of the energy facilities - especially at the Seestadl and Oslawan power stations - with quotas, and the necessary relocations led my planning officer to re-examine the supply situation at the turn of the year. The result can be summarised as follows: the supply of electricity in the Protectorate is above the national average thanks to the measures taken by your services (e.g. savings, diagram driving, the greatest use of night shifts) in their reserves. For the relocations that are currently being carried out, there was no reason from here to carry out special measures. For future relocations - in view of expected air attacks in the West - the Office of the Minister of the Reich Prof, Dr. Spe e r - Reichsvrotektor in Böhnen and Kähren has appointed Mr. General Oberst of the Police Daluege PI Palais Czerny 7
