The municipality of Prague, however, defends the position that it has up to now fulfilled these tasks to the full extent, also has all the necessary facilities, so that then - the state authority decided that there should be no change to the previous condition. - Up to now there have been ambiguities in the Prague house order, which were clarified with the police president, that a delimitation of the responsibilities was established in the case of penalties for violations of the house order between the protectorate police and the magistrate of the capital Prague. During the block criminal proceedings a reasonable increase of the fines was enforced. In the area of the regulation of green areas, a list of infringements was drawn up, the punishment of which is the responsibility of the municipality of Prague by means of criminal mandates. - As in the past, the legal office of the city remained anxious to contribute to the simplification of the administration through detailed submissions. We are pleased to note that a number of these suggestions have been dealt with positively by the Ministry of the Interior. Until now, the question is not resolved whether the German Minister of State and the Ministry for the Interior continue to insist on the submission of legislation and administrative orders, the approval of which has so far been subject to very severe delays. A lively controlling and regulating activity was carried out by the Office of Organization, to which the task had been entrusted, first and foremost, to verify the individual branches of the city administration, the entire purchasing sector, and the XvI unit in terms of the expediency of the operation. It should be noted with satisfaction that the results, which culminated in substantial simplification, must be described as quite satisfactory.
