/V Bl.4 to the letter of 10.6.41 -No. I-42.12 en the Lord Reichsprotector. for the time being, the Czech book stories, only in German translation, are issued as Prague memories; the task of creating a consciously German Prague homeland care and of developing a Prague German homeland history has not yet been approached. Aús these experiences seem to me to be far too far off. It is necessary to make cooperation between the city administration and the Reichsamt as close as possible to cultural policy areas. Under this link, the impoverishment of the autonomy of the urban circles feared by the Primators' representative and the reduction of the joy in working of the daunting city authorities do not need to be seen and touched by the city's tasks always in the context of the greater gent. It seems to me, however, that the Reichsprotektor clearly defines the competence of the Oberlandrat to intervene decisively in the cultural affairs of the city of Prague. It is not possible,E.sn, that the primator's representative tries to repeatedly reduce the supervisory right of the Oberlandrat, which is not personally meant, in the interest of the matter, but this is necessary, because it would be wrong to allow bad or inconsistent cultural policy in Prague. I must therefore see no supreme task de- rin, whatever happens in the cultural field, whether it is the party to monitor it from the city or other German services and to ensure that the cultural performance corresponds to the size and interests of the empire.
