0 Copy. Prague, July 11, 1940. FSx To the Führer, Obersalzberg, Berghof. My guide ! In addition to today's telephone report, I would like to say the following: In Budapest, in February 1940, the Hungarian defence organs of the protectorate members Bondy arrested him, who, in particular in the Protectorate, carried out an extensive judicial activity in favour of Czech emigration and the Allied intelligence service against the Reich. One of the 80 persons who were taken to the Protectorate was Dr. Klapka, whom he had informed about his activities in Yugoslavia, Romania and Hungary and his contractors in detail, who had received about 4.7o0.- RM to promote his illegal work. Now I ordered arrest. Dr. Klapka has admitted in a partial confession that RM 5,000.- from means which he allegedly has at his free disposal, to have given for this purpose. For this Klapca from this circle allowed itself to be directed, e.g. over - in the context of the great Czech "resistance movement" - imminent feasts of illegally active Czech personalities. Heil my leader ! ed. K.H. Frank.
