Total imports of goods were 193.3 million K in December 1943. The comparison with the import results in the previous month and the same month of the last three years shows the following picture /in Mill.K/: 00 XII.1943: XI.1942: XII.-1941: XII.194: 193.3 174,5 213,2 260,3 300.5 Compared to the preceding month, an increase of 18.8 million, i.e. 10.7%, was recorded; imports increased by almost the same percentage in volume terms. In the year l943, the import of goods had a value of 2,500,7 millionK compared to 2,632,9 millionK in 1942. As a result of the increased imports of raw materials, the import in 1943 was 10,6 $ higher than in 1942 in quantity.
