The General Officer V 1 V 1 - 12658/43 Prague, December 30, 1943. Hslom To the Herr Abteilungsleiter V im H a. u s e. I hereby present the draft letter addressed to Mr. Staets Secretary in the Reich Ministry of Economics, Ss-Oberfihrer Dr. H a y l e r on the issue of the allocation of work shoes for the industrial labour force of the Protectorate. As a transitional measure, the quantity allocated to him so far for the month of January 1944 has also been referred to the agent for workwear and work shoes. The question of the filly - the split wooden sole as well as the quantity required for the application of workwear has not been mentioned in the draft letters. The attempts to carry the split wooden sole, as reported by Legationsrat a.D. from the ceilings, have not been completed. The Community shoes therefore could not make an final decision on the empathy of this divided wooden sole. With regard to professional clothing made of twill, it was noted that there were also lively concerns in the Reich against the cuts envisaged for 1944. Therefore, the Reichsstelle Kleidung is preparing a new regulation of the entire supply of occupational clothing, which is to enter into force as soon as possible. It therefore seems to me that we are already taking action on this point.
