26 - 3 - The Polish leader Anton B u r d a had raised a group of young communists who, on his behalf, dealt with the production of explosives (stabmines and explosives). On 21.4.1943, four unfilled bar mines and samples of other chemicals not yet fixed in glass bottles were secured in the garden of the Skoda worker H o u s k a and in the apartment of the locksmith S k o l e k. By mixing these substances, the desired effect was allegedly achieved during experiments. The bar mines are manufactured by a blacksmith, who has not yet been determined, who is employed in the Skoda plants in Pilsen. They are made in three different sizes of steel tubes, which are welded at their ends, and have the following dimensions: 42 cm long -5 cm ; 39 cm long, -5.5 cm ; 17 cm long – 3 cm . The wall of the steel tubes is about o.5 cm thick. For the introduction of the explosives, the mines carry at one end an excavation of 1 cm g. This bore is closed by a plug-in screw, which in turn is provided with an opening for introducing the ignition cord. According to the persons involved, railway bombings should be carried out with these staff mines. As a new and not yet known conspiratorial working method in Bohemia of the illegal CP, the use of a numerical scheme, which is practically equivalent to encryption, is particularly important for the structure of the circle Pilsen. Each area and its surface had the same number as the cover name. The individual districts also had deck numbers, which were only for the pole. Each local group, which also had its number designation, was available to the 50 consecutive numbers for the members to be advertised. The camouflage designation is only clear at the beginning and complicates the further work considerably.
