LU-BRUO n I thank you very much for your letter of 23 November sign St.S. 288/39 and believe that the solution you have proposed largely meets the wishes of the German climbers in Prague; therefore I have informed the association leader of the branch association Prague of the DAV and gave the instruction to take the necessary practical implementing measures. However, I would also like to draw your attention to the other branches in the Protectorate area (Moravia/Brünn, North Moravia/ Olomouc) which have the same interest as the Prague branch, but for which the regulation you proposed would not be practical. I would therefore suggest that these branches address the requests of their members directly to the local commander of the security police and that they be dealt with there; or, if this is not possible, that these two branches be able to address themselves directly to you, and that you find a way to ensure that all these requests are dealt with in the shortest possible time and taking into account the fact that the applicants can generally be regarded as reliable from the outset. In any case, I am sending a copy of this letter at the same time to Prof. Gessner as my confidant for the branches in the Protectorate with the order to receive your answer and then to seek agreement with you. Tn yal I am with best thought and salvation Titler!
