STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 598, sig. 109-4345
English Translation
(ii) the need to improve the quality of life. In this connection, the question arises as to whether it is responsible to be able to expect the representatives of the Czech press to be treated in such a way that, on the other hand, the attitude of the press in the Czech Republic is already taking on a not unimportant role in the propaganda of the German radio in the whole of the Reich with regard to foreign countries. It is without doubt true that the reception of the bodies should be a celebration of the Prague Germanism. Nevertheless, the arrival of the body bodies in Prague represents an important event for the internal relations in the Protectorate and, in my opinion, must also have a certain echo in the Czech press and the Czech public. Moreover, if the Czech press was invited at all, there is no doubt that its representatives would have to be treated at the appropriate pace. In order to eliminate such inadequacies and psychological errors for the future, I believe that I can propose to you, Mr. Secretary of State, that a permanent staff be created for the organization of such events, as is the case in the Reich. In addition to a member of the Group of Cultural Policy Affairs, who would be responsible for the general implementation, this staff would have to include a supervisor of the German and Czech press, a higher officer of the police, a representative of the secret state police, an agent of the security service, a representatives of the Wehrmacht and a radio specialist. The latter I propose especially because of today's failure of the loudspeaker system on Wenceslas Square. Commissioned by: Aelfnauoluar / Wolfram v.Wolmar/ SS-Obersturmführer.
