This property was bought from municipal funds and the fields and meadows that belonged to it were to be used for the keeping of breeding livestock. The responsible bodies of the Agricultural Council provided considerable subsidies for the amortization of the municipality's expenditure on this property and the associated lands. These lands divided Hr u b y between themselves and the mayor of the place. The two paid a minimum price and are now owners. All the projects under whose pretext this purchase was made remained mere promises. The former owner of this property and the lands now lives in Novesedly a.d. Naser (probably Neusattel a.s. Nasser). In Mlaka lives the old social-democratic agitator V a n č u r a . He used to be a rafter, now he lives from wood cutting. This V a č ur a led the whole Marxist movement in Elaka and all neighboring villages. With H r u b y he was joined by mutual hatred and one tried to suppress the other. Now they live in the best of agreement. V a n č u r a does not engage in public agitation, but has remained within him the old, convinced Marxist. If H r u b y were to appear as Czechs of fundamental, rich-friendly attitude and action, he would not have come closer to V a č  u ra and had not been friends with him.
