- 5 - 9 During the holiday period of the Hr u b y was employed here in forest work . a working company of the Wehrmacht from Budweis. It came during their presence to their catering from the drive of the chief editor living here V e l i m s k ý . This friendly celebration had a good course and was held with the participation of block leaders Mrs. Kr a a l out of place at the Naser and except the mayor were present the respected citizens of Mlaka. Minister H r u b y did not consider it necessary to participate, although he knew the whole action, H r b y caused the purchase of a larger farm in Mlaka, which belonged to the farmer Hr u b Y (it is not a relative, there is only a name equivalent), by the municipality of Mlako on the condition that it would be converted into a club house. This property was bought from municipal funds and the fields and meadows that belonged to it were to be used for the keeping of breeding livestock. The responsible bodies of the Agricultural Council provided considerable subsidies for the amortization of the municipality's expenditure on this property and the associated lands. These lands divided Hr u b y between themselves and the mayor of the place. The two paid a minimum price and are now owners. All the projects under whose pretext this purchase was made remained mere promises. The former owner of this property and the lands now lives in Novesedly a.d. Naser (probably Neusattel a.s. Nasser). In Mlaka lives the old social-democratic agitator V a n č u r a . He used to be a rafter, now he lives from wood cutting. This V a č ur a led the whole Marxist movement in Elaka and all neighboring villages. With H r u b y he was joined by mutual hatred and one tried to suppress the other. Now they live in the best of agreement. V a n č u r a does not engage in public agitation, but has remained within him the old, convinced Marxist. If H r u b y were to appear as Czechs of fundamental, rich-friendly attitude and action, he would not have come closer to V a č u ra and had not been friends with him.
