Due to the unforeseen death of the accused, the investigation against him could not be concluded. The former police council in the Mihren state office, František C h l a d e k, was charged by the member of the organising committee of Moravia of the new illegal resistance movement, B u r e š, that he had taken the field of "police administration" within the organisation committee. Chladek admitted that he had taken over this area of responsibility in full knowledge of the highly traitorous objectives of the resistance group. Among other things, he said that he would have informed the President of the State, Dr. l. lznik, of the existence of this illegal resistance movement. His statements about M e z n i k are as follows: "About my connection to the President of the State M e Z n ik, who is my direct superior, I state that I also talked to him about the secret organization and that I have been categorized by B u r e š in the same sense as I have informed him of the purpose and purpose of the secret organisation. In addition, I informed the Minister that guidelines for the establishment of the new Czechoslovak Republic were issued even by the Pmger headquarters of this organization.
