In contrast, there was formerly a Czechoslovak nationality, which has disappeared due to the dissolution of the Czechoslovakian Republic. A proof of German ethnicity can easily be provided beyond the mentioned cases by entering into Divisions 1 and 2 of the German People's List. An affidavit on belonging to the German people is probably sufficient in all other stables for the purpose of the exchange of Czechoslovak state bonds, unless a more complicated procedure is to be introduced. In the first instance, the Land Council responsible for the applicant's place of residence would have issued a corresponding certificate with the support of the NSDAP. However, it seems possible that the reverse route, which at the same time ensures a review of the affidavit and which is shorter, would also be possible. The respective financial institution, at which the affidavit of a possession of Czechoslovak state bonds on belonging to the German people is made, should inform the Landrat responsible for the place of residence of the applicant of this fact. If it then turns out that the previous popular belief does not correspond to this declaration, the appropriate popular policy measures should be taken by the NSDAP against the commissioners of the) St.S.1A-314
